April 1st is Easter, April Fool’s Day and Dreadnought Wines birthday!
38 candles on the cake this year.
Why the name Dreadnought? The name was picked because in the boardroom that the founders were meeting in there was a John Stobart painting of the Dreadnought on the wall. The founders’ (Mike’s twin) father was a merchant marine for Belgium so a ship seemed like a good idea. Because Dreadnought was a battle ship and Dreadnought, the company, was battling the turbulent waters of the PLCB it seemed like a perfect fit for more than one reason. Today that painting hangs in Mike and Deb’s dining room.
Sincere thanks to all of you for your continued support!!
