The distinctive profile of this wine begins in the vineyards, where a sandy-loamy terroir is shaped by the moisture of the Danube. This is where the foundation for its uniqueness is laid. Winemaking begins with spontaneous fermentation in open vats, lasting a full 16 days without temperature control. The must is punched down twice daily to ensure optimal extraction of aromas. After alcoholic fermentation is complete and the aromas have developed intensely, the wine is pressed. The free-run juice is immediately transferred to 500-liter barrels, while the pressed juice is processed separately. The wine then matures for a further 14 months in large wooden casks, where it is cared for with great attention and care to develop its complexity and finesse.

The end result is a powerful yet silky cuvée of Blaufränkisch, Merlot and Zweigelt that perfectly captures the essence of this unique terroir and expresses it in every bottle.
